cabbagetown walking tours

Historical Victorian architecture, colourful murals, good eats, and more; this is what makes up the beauty of Cabbagetown. So… why not get out, enjoy it, and learn more about this Toronto neighbourhood for absolutely zero cost?

Organized by the Cabbagetown Preservation Association (CPA), walking tours are led by experienced and knowledgeable CPA guides with the goal of showing and teaching you all there is to know about Cabbagetown. This year, the CPA has a special focus on the Toronto Necropolis, one of the city’s oldest cemeteries. Known as the resting place for numerous prominent Torontonians and important figures in Canadian history, this is a piece of Cabbagetown that you don’t want to miss. Free walking tours of the Toronto Necropolis and Cabbagetown are taking place this year on September 5th and 26th @ 6:30pm.

In addition to their walking tours, the CPA also holds a tour of hidden backyard gardens and private spaces, and a tour of homes in Cabbagetown. These are held every other year, in alternating sequence on the Sunday following the Cabbagetown Festival.
